Motorcyclist in critical condition

A motorcyclist was critically injured in a Western Extension accident last night (July 5).

A biker was critically injured in an accident on July 5.

The incident happened on the corner of Edward Street and Victoria Avenue, at around 7.30pm.

Kelly Burchell, ER24 spokesperson, said the delivery man on the motorbike collided with a light delivery vehicle.

The biker was critically injured and sustained a head injury.

Burchell said another ambulance service transported the man to the Tambo Memorial Hospital.

The driver of the car was not injured.
