Sterilise your pets for less than usual

Pug Rescue SA plans to sterilise at least 67 pets for Mandela Day on July 22 and 23.

The Steri Campaign aims to give people who would not otherwise be able to sterilise their dog or cat an opportunity to do so.

The Thanda Inja Community Outreach Project, which is a Pug Rescue SA initiative, will benefit individuals who earn less than R7 000 a month, such as:

• Unemployed people. UIF documents need to be supplied.

• State pensioners. Proof to be supplied.

Dogs will be sterilised for R367 and cats for R267.

Proof of income is required.

You need to transport your own pet to and from the facility and be present pre- and post-operation.

The campaign will be held at Pug Rescue SA’s premises, at 80/1 Nielsen Road, Benoni North Agricultural Holdings.

You have to book your spot by July 13, which will be done on a “first come first served” basis.
