Themba Gadebe, EMM spokesperson, said these cemeteries are Lala Ngoxolo (Crystal Park) and Benoni Cemetery (Rynsoord).
The software was installed to end gravesite booking irregularities, provide easy access to past burial information, reduce duplications and regulate undertakers.
These cemeteries, which are two of 10, have adopted the new system which will be completely rolled out by next year.
“We hope to have the system fully functional and installed in all 10 cemeteries by September 2017,” said Gadebe.
The remaining eight cemeteries are Boksburg, Vlakfontein, Kromvlei, Brakpan, Primrose, Zuurfontein, Mooifontein and Nigel.
