Two injured in morning accident
Two people sustained minor injuries after a light motor vehicle collided with a taxi on May 31.
The accident occurred on the corner of Celia Nestadt and Great North roads in Brentwood Park, at around 7.45am.
“Reports from the scene indicate that the vehicle rear-ended the taxi,” said Athlenda Mathe, Netcare 911 media liaison officer.
“Netcare 911 paramedics treated two passengers from the taxi for minor injuries on scene, before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further medical care.”
Mathe added the driver and passengers from the light motor vehicle did not require any medical treatment.
