Animal food collection gathers momentum
After donations from Rynfield Primary and Farrarmere Primary schools, the Endangered Animal Trust has been able to give animal food to several local animal welfare organisations.
Tokkie Toka, through the Endangered Animal Trust started collecting animal food from schools and other organisations in February.

The Benoni Small Farms-based animal lover set a goal of collecting one million food items, which will be distributed to around 15 animal sanctuaries in Gauteng.
Pug Rescue, in Benoni North Agricultural Holdings, and Pet Rescue, in Putfontein are two local beneficiaries of the initiative.
