The meeting will be held at the Birchwood Hotel and Conference Centre, from 10.15am, where du Toit, a forensic criminologist by profession, will give a talk on some of the major court cases and the real issues that go on behind the scenes of these cases.
Du Toit is also head of the Sinoville Crisis Centre, in Pretoria, which specialises in forensic investigations for children.
Her job includes criminal profiling and providing expert evidence in court.
She also provides psychological assistance, particularly to child victims of crime, and does psychiatric evaluations.
Seats will cost R195 for ERBW members and R245 for guests, which include lunch, tea and coffee.
The ERBW has also requested that attendees bring a donation of warm winter pyjamas for boys and girls, aged three to seven years, which will be donated to Ukajede Foundation.
