Pupils can walk a mile in their new shoes

The Crystal Park SAPS donated school shoes to the pupils of Chief Albert Luthuli Primary School and Secondary School, on February 16.

This act of kindness was made possible by the Crystal Park SAPS youth desk, Victim Empowerment Centre (VEC) volunteers, CPF, community members, Crystal Park doctors, Spar and Cops for Christ’s Audrey Todd.

The aim of the the donation was to give back to the community and to share love during this month of love.

A total of 100 pairs of school shoes were donated.

Sgt Lerato Mopeli, Crystal Park crime prevention officer, said she is happy that her wish to give to back has came true, as this project was close to her heart.

“I thank everyone who supported me in making this project come to life and for all the donations we’ve received,” said Mopeli.
