UPDATE: EMPD arrest two suspects in Daveyton
Two suspects were arrested by EMPD officers in Daveyton on Thursday in connection with the murder of Maj Coert Jordaan of the EMPD Equestrian Unit.
Lt Col Lungelo Dlamini, SAPS provincial spokesperson, says the arrest follows the manhunt for the suspects who killed the officer at Aston Lake on Wednesday.
The decease’s Nissan Navara, two firearms (pistols) and a knife were recovered.
Dlamini says the EMPD officials followed up on information received from the community about the whereabouts of the suspects.
