Ashton Grade Six pupils achieve good results

Ashton Junior College Grade Six pupils write their English, mathematics and science Cambridge International Examinations during October of each year.

The Grade Six group of 2015 excelled in these examinations,by achieving a 100 per cent pass rate.

Of 38 pupils, 31 pupils obtained at least one distinction.

Within the group there were 17 pupils who obtained two distinctions and 10 who each achieved three distinctions.

Chay van Eck achieved 100 per cent in all his subjects.

The overall average for English was 78 per cent, with 12 distinctions.

The mathematics average was 86 per cent, with pupils obtaining 30 distinctions.

Science delivered an average of 82 per cent, with 26 distinctions in total.

The school said they were extremely proud of their Grade Six group of 2015 for the results and thanked the staff and parents

for their continued support.
