The public made an "absolutely phenomenal" contribution to the Hayward Diamonds VIP Christmas Charity Event for 2015, when they donated hordes of gifts to the business.
The Benoni-based company held its annual event at the Barnyard Theatre, at Emperors Palace, on November 15.
Diane Woodfine, Hayward Diamonds store manager, said the shop’s loyal patrons and sponsors were invited to the Rock Royalty show.
Guests brought along gifts, which will be handed to the chosen beneficiaries: The Old People’s Home, Methodist Homes – Eddy House and Elandsvallei Old Age Home.
These donations were additional to ones dropped off at the store, which Woodfine said was a massive amount.
“Hayward Diamonds strongly believes in giving back to the community,” she added.
