Be pampered at ‘Pamper Hub’

When you visit Pamper Hub you will be pampered with a variety of treatments that will keep you coming back for more.

The salon is owned by Lorina Gerber, who runs it from her beautiful, warm home on Dingler Street, Rynfield.

When I arrived, to have my nails done, I was overwhelmed by the variety of items the salon offers.

I found it hard to choose between the numerous nail colours; from colour-changing nail polish, neon coloured nail polish, prints and many more.

  • Nails

Lorina first buffed my nails and pushed back my cuticles.

This process ensures there are no natural oils attached to the nails.

A gel base coat was then applied to the nails, which acts as a protector.

I chose a dark pink gel polish called “Port Filp Gel It”, and Lorina applied two coats.

After applying each coat, I placed my nails in a UV light, which cures the gel.

Lorina got creative by drawing flowers on two of my fingernails before applying a “No Wipe Gel Top Coat”, which helps the gel to polish to dry faster.

The last step was applying cuticle oil to help with my dry cuticles.

The process took an hour and I was very pleased with the end results.

  • Spray on tan

Since Minnie van Deventer has a pale skin tone, she did not hesitate to get a spray-on tan.

Lorina used a Caribbean Spray-on tan product.

The tan can last from five to 10 days and Lorina said it’s great for events – as the results are immediately visible.

Pamper Hub also offers a Tan Can by Vetesse, which lasts for six weeks.

The results are visible by the sixth session.

Minnie was spray-tanned in the shower.

After the process, she had to stand in front of a fan to help to dry the spray.

Minnie was pleased with the results and recommended the spray tan for people who have skin problems such as eczema and psoriasis.

Pamper Hub also offers other services, including paraffin wax for hands and feet, teeth whitening, nails with art and many more.

The salon also offers card services for every customer’s convenience. ZM
