Bakkie overturns on R21
Two men were injured after a bakkie and trailer overturned on the R21 this afternoon (November 12).
The accident occurred just before the Atlas Road turn-off to Benoni.
According to ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring, when ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, they found the bakkie and trailer lying on its side, in between two barriers dividing the highway.
“On assessment, paramedics found both men had sustained minor injuries,” added Meiring.
The victims were transported to hospital for further assessment.
Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
