Ekurhuleni’s cream of the crop announced

This was the first ever annual BOE awards, and all the winners in the 99 voting categories were announced at a glittering cocktail party at Emperors Palace on the night.

Champagne popped and wine flowed, with all the winners celebrating their awards.

Guests from Ekurhuleni and further afield revelled in the great atmosphere of the event and everyone was encouraged to help grow the EMM.

What is the Best of Ekurhuleni Readers’ Choice Awards?

The Best of Ekurhuleni Reader’s Choice Awards was established to inspire the residents of Ekurhuleni to celebrate the best of the best and to inspire growth and prosperity in local business and organisations.

Voters came from nine towns and 17 townships within the EMM.

Caxton East/South Local Newspapers and the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality joined forces this year to bring the residents of Ekurhuleni the Best of Ekurhuleni Readers’ Choice Awards 2015.

There were five main categories, divided into sub-categories, and voting took place in August, this year:

1) Glam It Up (all the places you go to for shopping, feel good and to look hot for a fun night out with your friends).

2) Eat Drink and Be Merry (feeling hungry or in a party mood? Let us help you to find the perfect spots).

3) Lifestyle (all your needs, from banking, housing, investments, education and cars).

4) Living in Ekurhuleni (the best places to buy a home, enjoy a game of golf or have a day out with the family).

5) Dining out (fine dining and delectable food is what we enjoy when we have a little more to spend from our budgets; these are the best places to feed you in style).
