Honouring breast cancer survivors
This month's meeting of the East Rand Business Women honoured women who have been affected by breast cancer.
The gathering took place at the Birchwood Hotel and Conference Centre, on October 14.
Diane Smuts, Business Women member, shared her story of being diagnosed with cancer and her journey to recovery.
She acknowledge her perceptions before she started chemotherapy, and how they changed once she had started the treatment.
Fatima Abdool, former Binnelanders actress, shared words of inspiration, highlighting the challenges faced by women on a daily basis.
