Public enjoys Frozen screening at Lakeside Mall
There may be a heatwave but Lakeside Mall hosted a winter wonderland to entertain children during the school holidays.
Lakeside, in association with Disney SA, put up a playground in Town Square, within the mall, and the theme was in line with the Disney movie Frozen.
After free playtime, the movie was screened in a temporary pop-up cinema.
“After the NuMetro here closed, there is not much kids entertainment left in the mall,” said Angela Pereira, marketing manager at Lakeside Mall.
“We wanted to offer something fun for the kids during the school holidays and this also served to draw more clientele to the food court.”
Pereira said they hope to host the event annually or even every school holiday, but it depends on this event’s success.
