Express your feelings on animal abuse
Primary school children are being asked to enter the Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) Annual Primary School Poster Competition.
This year’s theme is: “Picture the Message: Be Kind to Animals”.
“Children have to create posters depicting ways in which people show compassion and kindness to animals, care for, and affect their lives in positive ways,” said Johann Steenkamp, of the AACL.
“This poster must not just be a pretty picture, but a picture with a message!
“A slogan or title may also contribute towards making the message clear.
“A good poster grabs the attention!”
Winners in the three categories will each win R2 000, while the school with the most entries will win a printer and cartridges worth nearly R7 000.
Entries close October 31.
