‘Tea For Two’ offers perfect food and tranquil space

Imagine sitting in a quiet, yet serene environment, enjoying a meal with a friend.

“Tea For Two”, in Northmead, provides a tranquil setting at Lavender Post Nursery, which is filled with beautiful flowers and trees.

When I arrived on a warm Friday afternoon, I was surprised by the bohemian-themed decor.

The tables are painted in beautiful, vintage colours, and two benches on the side are filled with warm-coloured pillows.

With a variety of items on the menu, it was a tough decision to make.

I settled for a chicken mayonnaise sandwich, a side dish of chips, and I had to taste the ham and cheese croissant.

To quench my thirst, I ordered a strawberry milkshake.

With the first sip of my milkshake, I knew I had made the correct decision.

It was creamy with the perfect amount of ice-cream, milk and strawberries mixed into a delicious, filling beverage.

I have always been a fan of the chicken mayonnaise sandwich, so I was left pleased with the perfect, warm taste of this offering.

The croissant was warm and filling; it would be great as a lunch meal or for breakfast.

The side dish of chips added a perfect touch to my meal.

My waitress, Conny Nyoni, said that “Tea For Two” first opened its doors on July 6.

Regulars at the restaurant love the quietspace is, and that they are able to have genuine conversations over a cup of tea and a sandwich.

The menu, which includes a variety of breakfast and lunch meals, also boasts a variety of children’s meals.

If you are looking for a peaceful and beautiful restaurant for your next lunch or breakfast, then visit “Tea For Two”. ZM
