He made this statement at the Hoërskool Hans Moore Arts Festival for 2015.
The event was held on September 11, and showcased artists from an array of disciplines.
Pupils flaunted their talents in creative writing, art, photography, music (instrumental), acting, public speaking, singing, dance and modelling.
The evening also saw the crowing of the new Mr and Miss Morrie.
Neo Mompe walked away from the glitsy affair as Mr Morrie, while his opposite number, Rolein Joubert, was named Miss Morrie.
