Little Miss Benoni and Miss Teen Benoni crowned
The search for Benoni's Little Miss Benoni and Miss Teen Benoni was held at the Lakeside Mall's Boat Deck, on Saturday, September 12.
There were 23 Little Miss Benoni contestants and 37 Miss Teen Benoni contestants.
Rampage Models hosted the pageant, in association with Lakeside Mall.
Parents, family members and supporters showed up to cheer on their favourite contestants.
Entrants rehearsed the whole week in preparation for the grand finale.
All the contestants were required to raise funds for the chosen charity, “Fried Tomato Company: Real Food For Real People”, based in Bredell.
The winners who were crowned are: Shaylin Nel (10, Little Miss Benoni) and Erin Moore (14, Miss Teen Benoni).
Kirsten Mustard was crowned Miss Débutante, for raising goods and money tatalling R17 670.
The judges included Robert Breedt (Mr Benoni), Chanley Wong (Miss Benoni), Beauty Mnyakeni, Charné Le Guidice and Kyle Niemach.
