Improve your maths and science

Want to improve your maths and science?

Great Achievers Mathematics and Science Academy, which is based at the Benoni Central Methodist Church, caters for pupils who want to improve their maths and science skills.

The academy was founded in August 2014, by Tichano Ndoro (principal of the academy), after he saw that many pupils either dropped marks or failed maths and science due to the lack of expert guidance in the subjects.

Vice-principal Alois Mashinyira said the aim of the academy is to equip learners with the necessary maths and science skills.

“These skills will enable the learners to embark on careers in the mathematics and science fields,” added Mashinyira.

“At Great Achievers, we offer extra tuition in mathematics, physical science, life science and accounting, from Grades Nine to 12.

“We help pupils with exam techniques, career guidance, study skills and one-on-one tuition.”

Classes are held on Saturdays, from 8.30am until 1pm for Grade 10 to 12 pupils, and from 2pm until 4pm for Grade Nine pupils.

A once-off administration fee is required upon registration.

Pupils who want to join the academy can contact Mashinyira on 073 436 7537, or by email at mashinyiraa@yahoo.com
