Make a difference at RNS golf day

Residential Network Systems (RNS) will be hosting their annual charity golf day on October 2.

The Lakefield company, which specialises in real estate, has hosted the event for the past 15 years.

Nico du Plessis, chairman of RNS, said the golf day is part of the company’s social investment, to reach out to the broader community.

Organisations that have benefited over the years are based in Kempton Park, Benoni, Brakpan and Boksburg.

This year, the Old People’s Home and Benoni SPCA have been chosen as beneficiaries.

Beneficiaries write a list of what they need and the money raised at the golf day is used to purchase items or to carry out the renovations needed.

Du Plessis said this process ensures that the funds raised reach the individuals in need.

The golf day will be held at State Mines Golf Club, in Brakpan.

Businesses and members of the public are invited to sponsor prizes or holes. Enough four-ball sponsorships have been received.

For more information, or to sponsor prizes, contact Maryna Geyer on 011 894 6920, or email to maryna@rnsonline.co.za.
