Ekurhuleni bursary applications are now open

The 2015 applications for Ekurhuleni Community Bursaries are now open.

The bursaries are offered to people who live within the region and who are either women, are living with a disability or are from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Those who comply with the minimum requirements are encouraged to apply.

Bursaries are offered to suitably qualified and deserving candidates with good academic records, and who wish to pursue full-time studies.

You can apply if you are registered for a bachelor’s degree, national diploma, certificate and accredited learning programmes in the following fields:

  • Science, engineering and built environment
  • Finance and commerce
  • Law (LLB)
  • Humanities, health and environmental management
  • Management
  • Vocational programmes
  • Information Technology

To apply, candidates should have a Grade 12 certificate or current matric exam results.

Successful applicants will be required to enter into a bursary agreement with the municipality.

Application forms are available at all Ekurhuleni Customer Care Centres, libraries and clinics.

Forms should be returned before the closing date, on September 18.

No late, faxed or emailed application forms will be considered.
