The suburbs were without water after a main water pipe was damaged in the veld behind Deneys Conradie Residentia on Railway Avenue.
A company who were clearing vegetation in the area are believed to be responsible for the damage to the pipe.
Some community members assisted the aged at Deneys Conradie Residentia by donating water to the block of flats this morning.
Ward 28 Clr Mary Goby said it will take a few hours for water supply to return to normal.
