O’Reilly Merry Street accident leaves three injured
Three people were left with minor injuries after a three vehicle collision on O'Reilly Merry Street, this afternoon (July 9).
The exact cause of the accident is unknown, but some witnesses said a red Toyota was driving down the street and attempted to enter the Engen Garage when it collided with a silver Hyundai Getz.
The Toyota then collided with a taxi which was exiting the garage.
According to Glen Orritt, ER24 spokesperson, a woman in her 60s, who was driving the red Toyota, suffered minor injuries and would be transported to hospital.
The driver of the silver Hyundai, a woman in her 50s, was also treated for minor injuries along with a passenger in the taxi.
She was transported to hospital.
The road is closed at the moment.
