The Zone Six Combined Presidential Induction luncheon was held on June 27. Isobel Reyneke (Benoni Host Lions Club past president), Sam Grolman (guest and Rotarian) and Quentin Sondergaard (Benoni Host Lions Club) were in attendance at the event, at the Benoni Country Club.
Four of the six clubs which make up Zone Six inducted their new presidents.
The presidents, who were induced by district governor Dave Cousins, are:
Boksburg Lions Club: James van Heerden replaces Hannelie van der Merwe.
Benoni van Rhyn Lions Club: Atholl Selkirk replaces Jill Stockwell.
Benoryn Lioness Club: Valerie Ridout will serve a second term.
The Lions clubs empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through the clubs.

Atholl Selkirk will take over the reigns of the Benoni van Rhyn Lions Club from Jill Stockwell.
James van Heerden is the new president of the Boksburg Lions Club. He replaces Hannelie van der Merwe.
