Crystal Park SAPS spokesperson Tryna Maritz said the Metro Police and Tracker officers followed a Tracker signal which lead them to a self-storage facility in Springs Road, Crystal Park.
“The officers found a Toyota Hilux which had already been cut up; the body parts belonged to a Hilux that was stolen in Carltonville.
“Other suspicious storage units were searched and other stolen body and vehicle parts were found, using ‘microdot’ on Diepsloot and Boksburg North cases, said Maritz.
The suspect was detained at Crystal Park Police Station.
A case of stolen property has been opened and handed over to the vehicle investigation services, for further investigation.
