Fighting crime through sport on Youth Day

On June 16, the Crystal Park SAPS held a Sport against Crime campaign, with the community of Crystal Park.

The public embraced the cold and came out to support the event, which took place at Crystal Park Primary School.

The aim of the campaign was to educate and make the community aware of criminal activities that are taking place in the area.

The community was addressed on issues concerning drugs, crime and the relationship between the community and the SAPS.

Different activities were presented on the day.

The public was entertained with a dog show by the EMPD and SAPS and children participated in various sports activities, including skipping, sack races, diketo (stones) and a fun walk.
