Winner of Lakeside competition collects his prize

The winner of Lakeside Mall's Dress Up Box Competition was presented with the grand prize on June 4.

On June 4, the winner of Lakeside Mall's Dress Up Box Competition received his prize. Seen here are, Allan Hayward (left, owner of Hayward Diamonds), Angela Pereira (Lakeside Mall marketing manager), Xolani Zaca (winner) and Diane Woodfine (manager of Hayward Diamonds).

The competition ran from April 10 to May 10, during which time around 3 000 photos were submitted, the best of which were chosen by popular online vote.

A panel of several judges, including the management of Lakeside Mall, style and image experts and the manager of Hayward Diamonds, decided upon the winner of the competition.

The winner was Xolani Zaca and he received a Rotary Ceramic Gents Watch and Silver Gents Neck Chain, to the combined worth of R10 000, sponsored by Hayward Diamonds.

He will now act as the official fashion brand ambassador for Lakeside Mall for the next 12 to 24 months.

His photographs will be used in Lakeside Mall advertising during this time.
