Mother’s Day winner chosen
The Mother's Day competition has come to an end and a winner has emerged.
The competition ran during May and consisted of entrants sending the City Times their Mother’s Day stories, after which the best was chosen.
The winner has won an Engelsrufer necklace from Hayward Diamonds, Lakeside Mall.

I knew my Mother’s Day was going to be tough, my girls were with their dad for their first weekend visit.
The following Tuesday I received an awesome surprise.
To start, my feet were soaked in petals in a foot spa, they were massaged and painted in cheerful colours.
My hair was swept up in a fabulous fashion.
My back was rubbed, hands massaged, I absolutely felt like a queen, my girls smiling at my delight.
That was the most special spa experience that money could have bought.
I thank the universe for these two girls that call me “mom”.
