SAPS host Sport Against Crime campaign

Crystal Park SAPS will meet with the local community for a Sport Against Crime campaign.

The aim of the campaign is to create awareness of the criminal activities occurring in Crystal Park and to strengthen the relationship between the community and the SAPS.

Special guest speakers will address the community on issues concerning drugs, crime and how the community can work together with the SAPS.

The event will take place on June 16, at Crystal Park Primary School.

The different activities taking place on the day are:

  •  Soccer matches between the SAPS, EMPD and the community.
  •  Netball matches between the SAPS and the community
  •  A dog show by the EMPD and SAPS

Tournament for Grade R to Grade Four:

  •  Fun walk
  •  Skipping contests
  •  Diketo (stones)
  •  Sack race

There will also be jumping castles to provide extra entertainment for children.
