Launch of the Creative Institute at Methodist Church
The Institute for Creative Conversations will launch at Northfield Methodist Church, corner of Webb Street and Aerodrome Drive, Airfield.
It is an institute of learning narrative practices and stories of faith and offers new and ongoing support and development in those areas.
The goal is to broaden the ways to deepen personal growth and spiritual capacity and support the reconciliation of relationships, cultures and communities in our country.
The launch is Saturday, March 21, from 8.30am to noon.
The launch will feature a keynote address, mini-workshops and a plenary session.
Tea and coffee and bites will be served.
Workshops and courses included are:
n Training Encounters: offers ongoing support and development in the areas of narrative and pastoral practices.
n Sacred Conversations: a three-part journey that invites anyone to explore sacred conversations with each other and God.
n Sacred Spaces: creates a space to connect with God.
n Collaborative Conversations: connects us with the communities and world around us.
