Patricia had travelled to Nigeria before

It was not the first time Patricia Phumzile Mkhulisi had travelled to Nigeria when she died in the collapse of the Synagogue Church of All Nations guest house, in September.

Lwandle Mkhulisi said his sister suffered from severe back pains, which started three years ago.

“She went to a number of doctors to find help and she often struggled to sit up.

“She decided to visit the Synagogue Church of All Nations, in Nigeria, for the first time in 2013,” said Lwandle.

According to the family, when Patricia returned from the trip she felt better.

On the second visit, in March, the family said, she was healed of the severe back pains.

“We can’t say anything bad about the church, because we believe she was really healed,” he said.

And on her return to Nigeria, on September 9, she was invited by the church.

When representatives of the Synagogue Church of All Nations informed the Mkhulisis that Patricia was one of the people who had died, they could not believe the news.

The building collapsed on September 12, and the next day her boyfriend received a message from her, that is why we could not understand,” Lwandle said.
