The SPCA takes in more stray and abandoned animals over the festive season.
Donations will go towards caring for them.
Benonians have the chance to donate to the fund until the end of December.
Donations were made by the following community members this week, bringing the total to R1 210:

Food and blankets can also be donated and the SPCA is in need of wooden pallets for the dogs to sleep on as cushions and dog beds get chewed up.
Each donation will be acknowledged in the Benoni City Times and on the Benoni SPCA Christmas tree.
