Your donations help Rotary to fight hunger
The Rotary Club of Benoni Aurora would like to thank the members of the public who support their food collection project.
Your donations help the club to fight hunger in the community.
The food collections are held on the last Saturday every month, at Pick n Pay Sheridan and Pick ‘n Pay Towers, owned by the Stavrides family.
Rynfield Primary School is also thanked for the donation of 300kg of mealie meal towards the cause.
They would also like to thank the sponsors of the boxes.
About 500 boxes of food are collected every year, which are distributed to charities every month.
For some charities these boxes of donated food are their only food for the month.
The next collection will be held on Saturday, October 25, from 9am to 1pm.
