One more night to support an art exhibition with a cause

If you are looking for a night out of the house, the Art Alive art school's fifth annual exhibition is one to venture to.

The opening was held on August 27 and there is still time till Saturday, August 30, to experience it.

This year, the exhibition is a fund-raiser for the Rotary Club of Benoni Aurora, in aid of the charities and projects they support.

Art works created by local artists can be viewed and purchased at the expo.

The artists have also agreed to paint a variety of smaller sized canvasses, which are being sold at a cost of R150 each.

Together with supporting a great cause, visitors can enjoy a cosy atmosphere created by bonfires, light jazz music, wine and warm winter food.

The exhibition is being held at the Art Alive school, at 56 Eleventh Avenue, Northmead.
