This is it, the final of 12 rounds of the Benoni City Times and Brentwood Pick n Pay Bride of the Year competition.
After this month, readers can get excited about the grand finale, during which each month’s winner will compete against the others for the title of Bride of the Year.
Benoni brides who were married in April 2014 have submitted their wedding pictures to the City Times.
Readers can vote for their favourite entrant by SMSing their own name and surname, followed by bctapril, along with the number of the bride, to 35718.
SMSes costs R1.50.
The deadline for votes is Tuesday, April 28, at midnight.
SMS votes will count 30 per cent and the other 70 per cent will be made up by a panel of judges.
The winning Bride of the Month will receive a shopping voucher valued at R1 000, and a R500 voucher will be given to one lucky reader who voted for her.
The winner will go through as a contestant for the Bride of the Year competition.
The overall winner will receive a local or overseas trip for her and her husband, to the value of R25 000.
The runner-up will win R10 000.
