Delicious pizza at new restaurant
A wide-selection of pizza, pasta, grills, desserts, salads and wines.
You will be confronted with all these options at a new establishment, Pizza Del Forno, at the Farrarmere Shopping Centre.
The restaurant had its ”soft opening” on Monday evening, May 12.
The Pizza Del Forno branch invited patrons to the opening, and they were treated to a free meal.
The well-priced and copious amounts of food options on the menu had me flustered at the opening.
A colleague and I were greeted by a friendly waitron and later settled for pizzas.
Logan ordered a large Del Forno pizza, which has steak, mushrooms, green peppers and Peppadew as toppings.
I opted for a Alla Pappa pizza, which was topped with bacon, feta and avocado.
The pizzas were very tasty and the portions were generous.
Besides the delectable food, Pizza Del Forno has a modern feel to it and a lovely atmosphere.
All in all, an experience well worth it.
The restaurant’s owner, Elder Lopes, said patrons can expect a three-in-one business.
People are welcome to have a sit-down meal, take-aways or have their food delivered to them.
”They can look forward to a very warm and personalised atmosphere, with great food, including pastas and grills,” said Lopes.
