Let me entertain you
Protea Stage Productions will host their annual stage production, at Tom Newby Primary School, from May 16 to 31.
This year’s concert is titled “Let Me Entertain You” and is directed by Lynsay Jonker and Michael Brownhill.
The main objective is to provide entertainment.
The show will run for three weekends.
It is a variety show filled with sketches, songs and dancers, with choreography by Verna Young.
It consists of 17 cast members, with ages ranging from nine to 29 years.
The cast has been rehearsing two evenings a week and on Saturday afternoons.
Bob Stone, chairman of Protea, said: “We are a youth society and aim to introduce the youth to theatre”.
Seating will be arranged at tables, and the audience are welcome to bring their own supper.
