Be part of the Harmony Singers

The Harmony Singers choir is looking for more residents of Daveyton and surrounding communities to join their choir.

The choir consists of 55 members and its doors are open for more.

The choir focuses on clap and tap music and pledges to support the community, uplifting of individuals and families.

It was originally formed in Daveyton by 15 members of the same church under Johannes Makua, and in 1993, Joel Tuis Makua took over as the master of the choir.

The Harmony Singers choir was formed in March 14, 1982, under the leadership of Apostolic Full Gospel Mission of South Africa.

The choir aims to render assistance and support to the youth,women, elderly and children, assist financially and spiritually in the event of a death of a member or family member.

Through fundraising, the harmony singers have managed to release their first CD with the title song “O tla re bulele di kgoro”.

They were also involved with the Bible Society, which held a fundraiser for them through gospel music, and in return each member was given a bible and a medal by the society.

Practices are held in Madingwane every Tuesdays and Thursday and performances are Sundays after church services.
