Show off your hobby at HobbiTech 2014

Benonians can get ready for a range of entertaining hobbies to be exhibited, all under one roof, as the annual HobbiTech exhibition returns on April 5 and 6.

This will be the 10th annual HobbiTech exhibition, hosted by the Rotary Club of Benoni Van Ryn, at the John Barrable Hall, in Rynfield.

Exhibitors are invited to book a stand and share their knowledge and passion for their individual hobbies with patrons.

This event is a fund-raiser, in support of charitable work and donations managed by Rotary.

In addition to all the popular hobby exhibits of past years, the association is adding the element of technology.

The organisers are especially looking for representations involving computers, software, electronic games, communication, the latest television advances and digital photography.

All exhibitors will be set up in ways to show the rank beginner or expert user how to improve their understanding and application.

Secure facilities and parking will be available for exhibitors, as well as the public.

Delight your tastebuds with braai and bacon butties, as well as other fare from the fully equipped kitchen.

Tea, coffee and cakes will also be available.

Demonstrations and live activities are encouraged.

Also encouraged is for technology exhibitors to give real help and advice to visitors.

The Rotary Club of Benoni Van Ryn organising committee will make every endeavour to meet all interests and hobbies and ensure that each exhibitor gets equal exposure.

Exhibitors are encouraged to apply via The Rotary Club of Benoni Van Ryn website, at rotaryvanryn.org.za.
