How exercising reduces breast cancer

Studies have shown that the more a woman exercises, the more it reduces the inflammation that takes place in breast cancer. The specifically recommended exercise is yoga.

Also advised for breast cancer survivors, yoga decreases the odds of the cancer returning. Women aged between 50 and 79 years, who regularly exercise, has a 22% lower risk of breast cancer. Three months’ worth of practicing certain yoga positions, the breathing and meditation, also cuts fatigue in cancer survivors by more than half. Besides the medical benefits of yoga, it also helps a woman to boost her energy levels, as well as re-energize cancer survivors.

Besides helping to reduce cancer in women, men that regularly as well, would share in the same benefits of keeping a healthy lifestyle.

The types of exercises that are advised for men are generally cardiovascular in nature. Men who frequently exercise, would reduce their chances of dying due to prostate cancer. Further results show that men who are more physically active, decreased the risk of lung or colorectal cancer, from 68% to 38%.

However, both men and women who are not fit and begin to exercise vigoriously, should be cautious of the increased rate in cardiovascular disease (CVD), which indicates that too much fitness does not always produce good results.
