Join the East Rand Business Women
The East Rand Business Women are back on track for another thrilling year, and welcome even more members of the public to join them.
This club has been in existence for over 12 years.
It was formed to give business women on the East Rand a forum to meet and network.
The club honours its members who achieve success and boasts a vast amount of knowledge amongst members, who offer support and advice to new businesses, or sometimes just compare notes and sympathise with each other and have a lovely giggle over what life puts on their plates.
The club meet once a month, on the second Wednesday of each month, at the Birchwood Hotel.
In November, a special gala brunch is held on a Saturday morning.
The meetings start at 10.30am, with networking, when members are encouraged to showcase their products and/or services, followed by a bit of business, then a motivational speaker, more networking and lunch.
The first meeting of the year is scheduled for February 12, at 10.30am, at the Birchwood Hotel, in Boksburg.
With it being the month of love and with Valentine’s Day a few days away, this meeting will be themed, and guests are asked to dress in “shades of white”.
The guest speaker will be club member, therapist and mediator Colleen Qvist, and, staying in the mood of love, her topic is “Loving yourself enough to develop habits for happiness”.
