The men are suspected of breaking into a house in Eighth Road, Cloverdene, on December 23.
Various household goods were stolen, including three plasma TVs, money and an Ipad.
“About 30 minutes after the crime report, an informer notified the SAPS of the whereabouts of the suspects,” said Crystal Park media liaison officer Tryna Maritz.
“Police made their way to Geluksdal and found five suspects inside a house with all of the stolen goods and most of the money that was taken during the break-in.”
Police confiscated the vehicle used to commit the crime and discovered that it was hijacked in June 2013, in Pretoria.
Police are awaiting fingerprint results to determine if the men could be linked to other crimes.
