Care Share Christmas party

The Benoni City Times, together with Cops4Christ, hosted yet another successful Care and Share Christmas Party, for children from care centres and orphanages in Benoni, on November 23.

A total of 160 children from Kids Haven, Benoni Child Welfare, Angel Wings, the Red Cross, Haven Care and Home Start were at the event.

The children kept themselves entertained by playing on the jumping castles, having their faces painted by the volunteers and watching a karate demonstration by Steve and Tyler Ormandy, from the Dragon Karate Club.

Their little faces lit up when Santa Claus paid them a visit.

Each child received a gift pack which contained a number of goodies.
