The tips are:
- Ensure that when you go on holiday someone looks after your house.
- Know your neighbours and build a relationship of mutual trust and support.
- Inform your neighbours when you leave on holiday.
- When you buy luxury goods, cut up the boxes and dispose of these in tied up rubbish bags. A branded box outside your property is a sign of what thieves could find in your house.
- Always ensure that your motorcycles are locked up and are out of sight.n Do not park your vehicle or motorcycle on the pavement.
- Take all valuables out of your vehicle when parking it at night.
