Sinomsebenzi offers economic healing

The launch of Sinomsebenzi Business Development marks the beginning of a sustainable economic healing.

This initiative was launched successfully at the Benoni Country Club on Wednesday, November 20, when a game of golf, which involved several businessman, was also played.

Sinomsebensi aims to assist individual students, unemployed people, small business owners and existing larger employers in the local community to realise their full potential through “sustainable economic healing”.

The concept of economic healing thus embraces: “To live in a city which is being economically healed, through the training, mentoring and equipping of local micro-entrepreneurs, employees and businesses who are interested in and motivated to develop their God-given talents.”

“This will result in the establishment and growth of profitable small to medium-sized businesses in the area, whose owners and employees manage their businesses in an honest and ethical manner and, thus, substantially grow the local economy,” said a Sinomsebenzi director, John Carhart.

The company consists of experienced senior businessmen and retired professionals who provide a rich source of experience and knowledge that is invaluable to new and established businesses.

They provide mentoring and business consulting services to new and existing businesses, in order to help them grow and to deal with modern business needs.

The company welcomes applications to “join our mentor team to perform this rewarding and fulfilling role”.

Sinomsebenzi has trained 40 learners, who graduated from the Paradigm Shift Course for Small Businesses, in November, last year, and, by the end of this year, the number of graduates will have more than doubled.

Sinomsebenzi and the Benoni Chamber of Commerce and Industries are also working to establish the skills requirements of chamber members, in order to provide training programmes that will meet the employer’s needs and enhance work seekers’ skills.

Sinomsebenzi supports NGOs, including the John Wesley Community Centre, Legae Pre-School in Etwatwa, Project Feed the Children and the Ithemba Rape and Trauma Centre.

Sinomsebenzi is housed at the White House Healing Centre, at the corner of Cranbourne Avenue and Kimbolton Street.
