Invitation to new business development launch

The Sinomsebenzi Business Development will be launched at the Benoni Country Club on Wednesday, November 20.

Its aim is to assist employers to fill gaps and to prepare work seekers, through career guidance and skills development,for the workplace.

The training manager at Sinomsebenzi, Stuart Sim, said the company consists of experienced senior businessmen and retired professionals who provide a rich source of experience and knowledge that is invaluable to new and established businesses.

“They provide mentoring and business consulting services to new and existing businesses, in order to help them grow and deal with modern business needs.”

Sim added that the company welcomes applications to “join our mentor team to perform this rewarding and fulfilling role”.

Sinomsebenzi has trained 40 learners, who graduated from the Paradigm Shift Course for Small Businesses, in November, last year, and by the end of this year, the number of graduates will have more than doubled.

Sim added that Sinomsebenzi and the Benoni Chamber of Commerce and Industries are working to establish the skills requirements of chamber members, in order to provide training programmes that will meet the employer’s needs and enhance work seeker skills.

Sinomzebenzi supports NGOs, including the John Wesley Community Centre, Legae Pre-School in Etwatwa, Project Feed the Children and the Ithemba Rape and Trauma Centre.

More NGOs will be assisted as funding becomes available.
