Treating our senior citizens

For each of these, the pharmacies arranged for pharmaceutical representatives to deliver talks on common problems that may arise in old age and to introduce products to the elderly.

“We have a passion for older people and want to give something back to the community once a year,” said organiser Ronel Haasbroek, vitamin sales associate and marketer of Terrace Pharmacy

“Informative talks are important; it’s all about loyal customers.”

Each senior citizen also received hampers, samples and spot prizes.

Each day was rounded off with tasty treats and snacks, prepared by Annemari Wiggill and Ronel.

“It was an outstanding talk,” said one of the residents of Rynpark Five.
