Miss India SA inspires youth
"God gave me the knowledge that I am going to win; not in an arrogant way, but it was like a secret," Miss India South Africa 2013, Gabriella Seekola, told the Actonville Full Gospel Church during her visit, on Sunday, October 6.
Gabriella (21) addressed the youth with an inspiring talk and encouraged them to believe in themselves.
She said that this experience has made her faith in other things stronger.
Currently in her third year at the University of Pretoria, she is studying towards a Bachelors Degree in Audiology.
She is an ambassador parent advisor for the Hi Hopes organisation that is dedicated to helping deaf and hard-of-hearing children.
She has been invited to become a member of the Golden Key Society, which is made up of the top 15 per cent of achievers at the university.
Gabriella will represent South Africa in New Zealand, at the Miss India Worldwide Pageant, from March 30 to April 8, 2014.
