Actonville police spokesman WO Ramothakhi Maqabe said the cars, a Mercedes Benz C200 and a Chevrolet bakkie, were found abandoned in a parking lot in Khan Street, at around 6.30am, on July 23.
“The cars were stolen during a house robbery in Sunward Park, in Boksburg, in the early morning,” he added.
The house was robbed by six men, who arrived in a white Mercedes Benz Vito.
The vehicles were recovered after tracking devices determined their precise location.
No one has been arrested.
